II. Brad Pitt - American Actor with IQ 115

William Bradley "Brad" Pitt was born in 1963 in Oklahoma, to a proprietor and a school counselor.

Pitt went to Kickapoo High School and he was an active sports person who joined the golf, swimming and tennis club. He also took part in school debates and in musicals. The young Pitt was considered as an outgoing, bright and cheerful student, who balanced between academic performance and extracurricular activities.

When he finished high school, he enrolled in the University of Missouri since 1982 and his major was journalism. But he had no intention of following journalism career after graduation. He was into films and decided to move to where films were made, Los Angeles. He took some acting lessons while working some odd jobs for a living.

Pitt began his acting career in 1987 at the age of 22. He played anonymous role in No Way Out (1987), No Man's Land (1987) and Less Than Zero (1987). He appeared in some soap opera on NBC, ABC and CBS the same year. In 1988 he got his first leading film role in The Dark Side of the Sun but this movie was not released until 1997. Pitt got roles in some movies the following year and made guest appearances on many TV series. It cannot be denied that Brad Pitt had chosen the right path for him as he saw no difficulties getting a role for both movies and TV series since the very beginning of his career.

He gradually earned public recognition for his appearances in movies and TV but his supporting role in Ridley Scott hit the most different. He gained popularity with his love scene with Davis, which defined him as a sex symbol.

It was not until 1993 that Pitt won the first award for his acting career. It was a ShoWest Award for Male Star of Tomorrow. In the following year, he starred in Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles and received 2 MTV Awards for his part. He won his first Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor for the role as Jeffrey Goines in 12 Monkeys.
In 2001, Pitt appeared in one episode of the legend sitcom of all time, Friends. He played the role of a friend who hated Rachel Green since high school. He was nominated an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for this appearance.

Besides acting, Pitt is also a film producer. He started producing films since 2010 for The Tree of Life. In 2013, he produced and played in 12 Years a Slave, which was a big hit to his career. This movie received 9 Academy Awards nomination and won Best Picture.

His most recent role as a stunt double Cliff Booth in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, co-starring with Leonardo Dicaprio, earned him another Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2020.
